Asha Ashanti is an African-Jamaican screenwriter, actor, and singer. Known for her work as Melody Jones drummer of Josie and the Pussycats in the CW's Riverdale. Asha is also known for her role in the role of Zadie in the Netflix smash Locke and Key. Asha Bromfield is also the author of HURRICANE SUMMERTIME and SONGS IF IRIE. Asha Bromfield's debut novel transports readers to Jamaica as well as the world of a girl in her early years who struggles to come to terms about herself as well as her family, set to the backdrop of hurricanes.
